Will Fantom reach $10? Importantly, will Fantom sustain the current uptrend, and how high up can we expect its price to reach in the next few years?

Well, after its impressive performance in the last year, which saw its value go up by more than 1,800%, the majority of crypto market players are convinced the altcoin will eventually get to $10.

Technical analysis by Gov. Capital, a crypto price-forecasting site, for instance, indicates that Fantom will most likely break above $10 within the next 5 years.

For the last three months, Fantom has been on a rather wild uptrend, which is an extension of an expeditious value gain that started earlier in the year. Much of this is attributable to the crypto market-wide rally experienced in the first few months of 2021, as well as the promising crypto market action being witnessed today.

Now everyone is asking if we can expect the rally to go on and if it will eventually help Fantom rise above $10.

Let us answer this question by referencing some crypto expert price predictions and tell you more of what you need to know about Fantom’s future price action before you buy the altcoin.

We start by looking at its with its current price and recent price history.

Fantom (FTM) Current Price

At the time of writing, Fantom is selling for $2.10, according to data from CoinDesk. For the last 30 days, Fantom prices have been ranging between $1.81 and $3.36 - which is close to the altcoin’s current all-time high. The Ethereum killer is also ranked 29th on CoinMaretCap with a market capitalization of $5.34 Billion and a circulating supply of 2.55 Billion FTM tokens.

At the beginning of the year, Fantom, which launched in November 2018, was trading at $0.017. And even as the rest of the market went into overdrive in the first four months of 2021, FTM’s growth was rather marginal as it failed to break above $1, instead, it set the recently broken high of $0.92 on 10th May.

Before this rally, Fantom had been around for more than 2 years, and it made significant developments within the Fantom ecosystem during this time. But still, FTM token prices remained largely unpopular, one can dare say unknown, to the part of the crypto market that matters most when it comes to crypto price determination - the speculative investors and traders.

Throughout the year, however, Fantom has made several moves that place its token in the face of crypto investors and traders. These include entering into DeFi and NFT-focused partnerships and upgrades to the Fantom ecosystem.

This, coupled with the spark from a rallying crypto market, has helped Fantom extend its overall ROI to 14,400%+.

But more importantly, most crypto analysts and experts are convinced that the altcoin has set a launchpad for its prices and is now set for take-off.

So, Will Fantom (FTM) Reach $10?

Yes, all the fundamental and technical indicators point to soaring FTM token prices, which will most probably help it break above $10 in the next few years. Further, trader and social media sentiments are strongly bullish on Fantom’s future price action. Looking at these indicators and the coin’s latest price action throughout the year, it is easy to see why most analysts believe Fantom is one rally from breaking above $10 - and such a rally is expected in or before 2025.

Look at it this way, Fantom caught up with the early 2021 crypto market rally late as its price started gaining momentum at the end of January, but it still rose 55-fold before the mid-May crash. In the last three months, the market has been in a recovery mode, and this has helped it shoot up by more than 13X. Given its current price of $2.35, FTM only needs to appreciate by 425% to break above $10.

We would also like to point out that some core partnerships between Fantom and both off-chain and blockchain-based enterprises, FTM ecosystem upgrades, and a thriving crypto market have had the biggest impact on FTM token prices. Therefore, if the bullish crypto market trend rallies on and Fantom keeps entering into strategic partnerships, we expect FTM’s token price to break above the current price in the next few months.

Will Fantom (FTM) Eventually Reach $100?

Well, it is highly likely that Fantom will eventually reach $100. It has solid fundamentals that include a good founding team as well as the backing of reputable partners like HyperChain Capital and several national governments across the world. And these, coupled with a bullish crypto market rally, will help its value rise by the 4,660% required to break above $100.

Save for the stiff competition and unpredictable market performance, there is little else standing in the way of Fantom getting to $100. Even its moderate maximum token supply of 3.175 Billion FTM altcoins supports a per-token valuation of $100, seeing that it would only translate to a $317.5 Billion market cap for the altcoin.

However, and with these factors notwithstanding, crypto experts and technical price predictions aren’t convinced that Fantom will break above $100 before 2030.

According to market analysts from Crypto Research Report, for instance, the coin will maintain a bullish streak as we head into the future, breaking above $15 within the next three years, but this can only get it to $55 by the turn of the decade.

Technical analysis report by PricePrediction.net is more optimistic about FTM and expects it to reach $18 within the next 5 years and extend this to $78 by the end of 2030.

The most bullish Fantom price forecast is provided by a technical analysts report by the CryptocurrencyPricePrediction website, which indicates that the emerging ‘Ethereum Killer’ will possibly break above $40 within the next five years and get to close to the target price by ending the year 2030 selling for $118.19.

One of the primary reasons why most of these experts think Fantom will reach $100 by the turn of the decade is due to the lack of a solid community behind the altcoin. But as its popularity grows, as it racks up supporters on social media, and as its daily trading volumes rise, wes expect these sentiments to change and forecasts adjusted.
